Sherrie Barch

President

When it comes to identifying great leaders, Sherrie Barch believes that leaders are all around us and by recognizing patterns we can spot those who transform and inspire while avoiding the toxic, performance-draining ones.

After sitting across from, both virtually and in person, more than 50,000 leaders in her career, she is energized by working with organizations to find the right talent to move forward toward continued, long-lasting success.

Legacy is built not by what we achieve, but through those we inspire to achieve.

Sherrie Barch has helped boards and CEOs recruit, develop, and retain their leadership teams for more than 40 years. Sherrie’s expertise around leadership and developing effective teams has made her an in-demand partner for organizations across the U.S. and overseas.

Her forward-thinking approach to work was recognized when she was chosen to participate in the ‘altMBA” program designed and led by leadership guru Seth Godin. The intensive and exclusive program attracts executives from the likes of Google, Nike, Microsoft and Coca-Cola.

Sherrie co-founded Furst Group in 1991 and is a seasoned speaker and writer on leadership, diversity and healthcare. Her work has appeared in publications ranging from Modern Healthcare to Trustee magazine (part of the American Hospital Association). She launched NuBrick Partners specifically to assist organizations in leadership development and CEO and board services.

Her experience in executive search and leadership consulting enables her to provide sound counsel as she helps clients align their leadership teams. In healthcare, her decades of familiarity with both provider and payer organizations make her well qualified to tackle the convergence of these spaces as they relate to population health, quality and safety, and value-based outcomes.

Sherrie holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business communication.
