Tiara Muse

Tiara Muse brings a diverse perspective with her broad experience in for-profit, non-profit, and public sectors. As a Consultant with wide-ranging expertise recognizing C-suite and senior healthcare leaders, she recruits and conducts research into healthcare organizations and their markets, guiding candidates and client teams to identify strategic and operational executives. She also partners with organizations seeking to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

 

Tiara began her career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC, where she worked on plans for national human capital and workforce development. She was also on the team for the Office of Health Disparities at the American Cancer Society in Atlanta, where she helped develop strategic partnerships and build cultural competence.

 

Prior to joining Furst Group, Tiara served as a core member of the Healthcare Services Practice at a leading global executive search firm and as a researcher for the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she worked on a number of national studies.  

 

Tiara is a member of the Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Healthcare Services Executives (NAHSE), the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Chicago Health Executive Forum (CHEF), and the American Public Health Association (APHA). She is affiliated with United Way-Chicago and the American Heart Association’s Associate Boards. She is also Board Director for Accurate Transit, LLC, a Chicago-based non-emergency medical transportation company. Tiara is also a mentor to youth and is a frequent speaker on topics related to career readiness, training, and education.

 

Tiara holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Spelman College.
