Sarah Carr Evans, PhD
Sarah Carr Evans, PhD, is a highly trained and experienced psychologist and consultant. She has partnered with numerous Fortune 500, private, and non-profit organizations to design, implement, optimize, and measure the impact of human capital initiatives that extend the full breadth of the leadership life cycle, from selection to succession. Sarah is data-driven in her approach and works closely with her clients to define measures of success so that ROI can be demonstrated.
She possesses an extensive background in executive and leader-level assessment, new leader assimilation and onboarding, leadership development, executive coaching, and the development of company-specific leadership competencies that create a framework for selection and talent management programs. Sarah also has served as a consultant, coach, and onboarding expert to C-suite executives and their boards of directors. Through this work, she has created and delivered leadership and board development programs, conducted “bench strength” analyses, and provided critical recommendations regarding organizational design and succession planning.
Sarah also has created leadership competencies and development curriculum specifically for clinical leaders, and has served as an assessor and coach to many physician and nurse executives. Prior to joining NuBrick Partners, she was an internal consultant to one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the country, overseeing its processes for leader-level selection, top-talent identification, and the assessment of participants in a leadership development institute.
Sarah is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Georgia where she earned a B.A. in English and psychology as well as an M.S. and a PhD in industrial/organizational psychology. During her tenure at UGA, she taught psychology courses and published research on topics such as the benefits and challenges of mentoring relationships. Prior to earning her doctorate, she spent five years as a sales consultant with Eli Lilly and Co.
