Beth Michaels brings more than 30 years of leadership consulting to clients. She has a stellar reputation around actionable strategic planning and leadership development, including culture and board work.
With a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology, Jeff’s focus is on promoting tangible outcomes that fulfill the strategic intent of the organization. Through assessment, executive coaching and other practices, he partners with executives to take their leadership skills to the next level, an essential element in succession planning and the establishment of a talent pipeline.
Given that values-based leadership drives engagement and retention, measuring and monitoring organizational culture is one of Beth’s core competencies. She is called upon to accelerate culture development, with a keen ability to help senior leaders assess and steward healthy cultures, particularly during times of great change and stress, such as mergers and reorganizations.
In 2013, Beth’s facilitative leadership work was recognized with an Edison Award for Innovation in the area of social impact for her work with Rotary International on the complete restructuring of the Rotary Foundation. Her other clients include Gundersen Health Plan, Pfizer, Motorola, Baxter, Unity Health Insurance and Johnson & Johnson.
She is the co-author of the book, Investment Leadership: Building a Winning Culture for Long-Term Success (Wiley). Beth is certified in the Barrett Values Centre’s corporate culture assessment, the Myers-Briggs preferences inventory and the Hogan Personality Assessments.
Beth holds a master’s degree from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
