Joni Robbins Vice President Joni Robbins has more than 20 years of health care executive search experience. Her background includes senior-level assignments in areas such as general management, human resources, supply chain integration, operations, and service line leadership. Joni's work on senior-level searches in provider health care, as well as in consumer products and services, has given her a unique perspective on the synergy of health care as a business and a service. As a member of the management team at Furst Group, Joni vets candidates through a highly creative, innovative and relational approach and has demonstrated an ability to identify strong leaders who will be the right cultural fit for an organization. One of Joni's areas of interest is in academic medical search, and her work in that specialty includes completing several searches for management teams of academic medical centers and large teaching hospitals. Prior to joining Furst Group, Joni was with Slayton Search Partners, a national search firm based in Chicago, as senior vice president and principal. Prior to joining Slayton, she owned her own executive search firm, The Continuum Group, which specializes in health care search and competitive intelligence. Joni also worked as a health care executive search consultant for A.T. Kearney. She started out as a project specialist at American Hospital Association, working with member hospitals across the nation on cost containment. Joni received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her Master of Science degree in Public Service Administration from DePaul University. She serves on the board of Children's Memorial Hospital Corporate Champions in Chicago and is a former board member and regional chair of The Executive Search Roundtable. She has also served on the board of the Women Health Executives Network. |
