Dave Appino Vice President Dave Appino has more than 15 years of experience in executive recruitment. His past 13 years at Furst Group have aligned him with some of the top health care decision-makers in the industry. Dave's 120+ executive placements have positively impacted a variety of health care entities from small, not-for-profit companies to Fortune 500 organizations. Dave's extensive experience recruiting senior talent includes Chief Executive Officers, Presidents, Chief Operating Officers, Executive Directors, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Information Officers, Care Management Executives and Vice Presidents. His clients have consisted of health plans, hospital systems, medical groups, and academic medical centers, as well as technology and other specialty companies in the health care service sector. Dave is responsible for leading Furst Group's transitional leadership solutions practice. In addition, he has expertise working with pioneering firms who are working to improve the health and wellness of underserved populations. Dave values the opportunity to impact these markets by partnering with organizations to attract talented executives, as well as build leadership depth throughout the company. Dave received the Academy for Healthcare Management professional designation (PAHM) in 1997. He also has published a variety of industry-related articles. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Psychology. Prior to joining Furst Group, Dave was employed at a national retained search firm working across multiple industries with Fortune 500 companies such as Motorola, Johnson and Johnson, BASF and Eastman Kodak. |
