As our client surveys can attest, we consistently reach that goal. Our process - highlighted below - is designed to identify and attract the best executives for the positions we are retained to fill.
Position Profile Development - A thorough understanding of the needs and culture of our client organization is critical to a successful search engagement. Each position profile is developed after seeking input from key executives or other constituents who will work with, or be affected by, the successful candidate's performance. The profile integrates the environmental and organization factors that will impact the candidate's performance, as well as specific skills, credentials and academic qualifications.
Target List Development - We prepare a target list of organizations from which candidates might be found and screen it to ensure our client's business relationships are protected.
Custom Research and Sourcing - Individuals within the targeted organizations are identified and contacted as either potential candidates or sources. In addition to our original research, we bring to bear the extensive network contained in our proprietary TrakNetŠ database as well as our deep relationships with a number of national trade associations.
Progress Reports/Meeting - Communication is extremely important to a successful search experience. We proactively provide verbal and written updates - both on a scheduled basis and informally as issues surface requiring client input. Our commitment to communication also extends to candidates to ensure individuals are kept up to speed on potential opportunities. Every Furst Group principal is available via cell phone or wireless e-mail as needed.
Furst Group Interviews - Each candidate's background is thoroughly reviewed assessing strengths, weaknesses, experiences, motivations and style through multiple conversations references and personal meetings. We will review each of the final candidates with you to ensure a match of critical success factors outlined in the profile and in our discussions to intangible factors such as relocation concerns and personal expectations. Initial references are also conducted from a personal and professional perspective.
Client Interviews - We will coordinate all arrangements, including assisting with the candidates' travel arrangements, helping our client develop questions and an appropriate interview format, and compiling of interview results.
Due Diligence - Throughout our interviews we conduct in-depth reference checks on the most promising candidates. In addition to checking candidates' references, we will verify academic credentials and conduct other specialized background checks.
Offer/Transition - We are prepared to offer insight and assist our client in the selection of a final candidate, but the final decision is our client's. Most often, we will help in the development and negotiation of the offer and develop a customized onboarding plan.
